Born from a genuine desire to help
Steve Jobs once said a computer is like a “bicycle for the mind.” Technology has always been about enabling people to do more β and at EXIOSS, helping people is what drives us every single day.
Steve Grovenor founded RedShift Technologies in 2003 after serving as Director of Operations and Technology at a Cable TV company. When that company was sold, several of its former executives launched their own businesses β and quickly found themselves overwhelmed by technology challenges. They called Steve.
What started as informal consulting evolved rapidly into a full-service IT company. The problems were real, the need was urgent, and Steve’s approach β identify root causes, deliver real solutions, educate clients β turned out to be exactly what small businesses needed.
HOW WE’VE GROWN
From consultancy to cutting-edge MSP
Managed Services for small businesses barely existed 20 years ago. The tools were in their infancy, reserved for large enterprises with substantial IT budgets. As the industry matured, so did we β building out our toolstack, growing our team, and expanding our compliance expertise.
In 2024, we rebranded from RedShift IT to EXIOSS β a name that better reflects who we’ve become: a forward-thinking, enterprise-capable MSP that still delivers the personal, people-first service of a local partner.
